Containers are used in place of partition tables in the APFS filesystem. Disks are the physical manifestation of a drive. Also 'lsof +fg' will show file-flags - Those listings with EVO will NOT prevent unmounting. In short, disks contain volumes which contain data. We use the builder-cli on this Windows server to build the Mac installer.
